Alameda: The Alameda 4th of July Parade is one of the largest and longest Independence Day parade in the nation. With over 170 floats and 2,500 participants who travel a three mile route, the parade has become the central activity of the Bay Area's Fourth of July weekend. - Parade Website

Albany: 8:00-11:00 am Lion's Pancake Breakfast, The event takes place on the 4th of July each year and is held in Memorial Park. The event features a pet show, diaper derby, mustache & beard contest, music, activities for the entire family and great food. Website

Berkeley: The 4th of July is a great day to have a lot of fun. The biggest party is at the Berkeley Marina from noon-10PM with all kinds of free fun! There’s yummy food trucks and booths, handmade crafts, free dragon boat rowing from 12-5PM, massages, live pony rides and carnival rides near Skates, an inflatable bouncy area, mini-train rides, giant slides, and water bubble ball rides all culminating in the grand fireworks over the water from the end of the Berkeley Pier at 9:35PM which are presented by the City of Berkeley. Danville: Kick off Independence Day at Danville’s 4th of July Parade. This festive, hometown event attracts over 40,000 attendees each year including local residents, family, friends, and flag-wavers from the Bay Area and beyond. Pleasant Hill: Hats Off To America! The Pleasant Hill'a 38th Fourth of July Celebration begins at 8:00 am - Firecracker 5K Fun Run (100 year dash for 7 and under), Traditional Fourth of July Parade starting at 9:30 a.m. Fun At Pleasant Hill Park starts at 10:30, Games, food, live musical entertainment, races, contests, educational displays, and many events to keep kids and grown-ups entertained for hours. And this is fireworks with a capital 'F'. The Pleasant Hill fireworks show is a dazzling spectacular that brings 'em back for more every year blasting off at 9:00p.m.! Website

Livermore: The City of Livermore and Livermore Downtown Inc. have partnered to bring the fireworks celebration to downtown Livermore. Fireworks will be shot off from the top floor of the City Parking Garage on Railroad Ave. The 25-minute show will close Railroad Avenue and other nearby streets for part of the day. 6pm Street Closure - 9:30pm Fireworks. Pittsburg: The annual Independence Day Fireworks display will be sponsored by the City of Pittsburg's Waterfront Department along with its industrial tenants. The fireworks begin at dusk on Saturday evening, July 4. Website

San Ramon: Celebrate the 4th of July California style at a retro beach party concert in the park. We don’t have an ocean but we will have plenty of fun in the sun. Bring the whole family, some beach chairs and a picnic. The festivities will kick-off at 5pm with the Swinging Blue Stars taking us back to the 1940s and 50s singing all those fabulous patriotic tunes like “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” and “When the Saints Come Marching In”. The celebration will continue with the California Beach Boys. Join us for a California style 4th of July with an “endless summer” celebration and some beach themed activities for the kids. American Canyon: Fourth of July parade with classic cars, floats, decorated vehicles and more will take place on Sunday, July 4 and will start at 10:30am at Elliott and Kimberly Drives. The parade will end at Community Park for an all-day festival with food, contests, games for children and a flag-raising ceremony. Fireworks begin after dusk at approximately 9:30pm. Website

Benicia: Picnic in the Park & Fireworks. Benicia's City Park is filled with arts and crafts, delicious hot food, live entertainment and children's activities, Climbing Wall, Train Rides and Inflatable Kids’ Entertainment. Sausalito: July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza at the Gabrielson Park- 6:30pm to 9:30pm. The parade through town begins at 10am at the intersection of Second and Main Streets and ends at Dunphy Park.
