The Franciscan and the Montanan are sitting in a bar watching the newscast. A story comes on showing a man standing on the ledge of a building, obviously contemplating whether or not to jump.
The Franciscan leans over to the Montanan and says, Iíll bet you 50 bucks that he jumps.
The Montanan looks at the newscast, and thinks about it, then says, Youíre on.
Sure enough, in a few seconds, the man jumps from the ledge.
The Montanan shrugs, and hands over the money to the Franciscan.
The Franciscan shakes his head and says, Look, I canít take your money. I saw this story on the 5 oíclock newscast, and I knew he was going to jump.
The Montanan said, No, thatís OK. I saw it too, but I never thought heíd jump twice.
